Recap: Eastern Canada ISA Qualifier at CJ’s Skatepark

Yesterday (April 24th, 2016) Evolve hosted the Eastern Canada ISA qualifier at CJ’s Skatepark. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such an awesome day! We had a ton of fun, and we hope you did as well.

ISA East Qualifier

The ISA World Championship is a series of pro scooter competitions hosted around the globe. Started in 2012, the competition provides a stage for the sport’s most talented athletes as well as the scooter industry at large to show what they’re all about. The event we hosted yesterday is a qualifier for the North American Final, set to take place May 8th at Chino Skatepark in Chino, California.

Here’s a bit of information from the ISA website regarding the championships:

• 18 qualifying competitions
• 10 Countries
• Hundreds of pro riders
• Estimated $25,000+ prize pool from the entire championship
• 1 World Final hosted at an Action Sports Event
• Expected footfall 35,000+
• 45+ International riders
• 2015 World Final TV coverage estimated at 25,000,000+
• Estimated ISA Championship exposure and reach 40,000,000+

Yesterday’s ISA Eastern Canada Qualifiers went off without a hitch. CJ’s Skatepark turned out to be a great spot to host an event like this, and there were a ton of talented riders that came out to compete in this street style competition.
