As the date gets closer and closer, we continue to count down the days until the release of the much anticipated “ We Are Blood ” movie.
This skateboarding film features skateboarding legend, Paul Raudriguez, and crew as they travel worldwide in search of the best skate spots. Their skill sets and combined sense of adventure is said to challenge all current expectations of skateboarding community. The film will document the group as they travel to Spain, China, and India – as well as following them throughout their road trip across the United States.
The film is to be released by a collaboration of Mountain Dew’s Green Label films and Brain Farm. It is to go public in August 2015 on multiple online streams including MGO, Amazon Instant Play, and iTunes to name a few. Director Ty Evans is world famous for his legendary work on the unmatched snowboarding video “Art of Flight”. His past work with the Brain Farm production house make this a much hyped film, inclined to bring a progressive point-of-view to skateboarding media coverage worldwide.
But what is so “progressive” about this film?
“We Are Blood” is being shot on ENTIRELY 4K cameras – including the Shotover F1, Phantom Flex 4K, and the RED Dragon.
Meaning? Meaning the quality is expected to be impeccable, and the level of cinematography is expected to raise the bar for the future of skateboarding films.
