This is one of our favourite clips, it is detailing the story of Quincy Symonds a very special 6 year old. Quincy or the Flying Squirrel as she is so lovingly nicknamed, has a supernatural prowess on the deck of a surfboard and skateboard. Quincy suffers from Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, a genetic disorder that affects her body’s ability to create cortisone and requires shots every day, but this has not stopped her drive and ability in both sports, which she loves equally.
Here at Evolve Skate Camp we believe that skateboarding is a great release and physical exercise for people of all ages, and we have even introduced skateboard lessons for toddlers, which you can learn more about here.
