Everyone Has to Start Somewhere!

Our CIT (Counselor in Training) and Volunteer program is the perfect way for our 15-year old campers to transition into a staff role with Evolve. We use our CIT and Volunteer program as a way to evaluate future leaders with Evolve.

    CIT & Volunteer Program Duties

    Evolve’s CIT and Volunteers will be the individuals in charge of teaching campers how to skateboard or scooter as well as helping out with any other programming needs.

    • Teaching Campers How to Skateboard or Scooter
    • Accompanying Campers During Lunchtime
    • Accompanying Campers to the First Aid Station
    • Moving Company Equipment or Promotional Material
    • Assist With Snack Distribution and Clean Up
  • Evaluation
    Evaluation

    CITS and Volunteers are evaluated based on a set of criteria, given regular feedback and are are encouraged to improve and get better. They are evaluated on things like the following:

    • Showing up to work on time and regularly
    • Demonstrating responsibility
    • Demonstrating hard work
    • Demonstrating reliability
    • Being a positive role model and team member
