  1. The Aud – Kitchener Skatepark (Permanent Outdoor)

This skatepark boasts a wide-open space. It has a solid pyramid, however some of the features, like the quarter pipe and flat bars have received some negative online attention.

 

Hours: 9 am – Dusk

Cost: 0$

Supervised: No

Restrooms: Yes

Padding: Yes

Caters To: All

Features: Bowl, launch ramp, quaterpipe with rail, faltbars, pyramid, concrete pad, double

camel’s hump, ramp with grinding rail, horizontal grinding rail.

 

Address/Directions:  401 East Avenue

 

         Take the 410

         exit onto Highway 8

         exit onto Ottawa Street

        Left at the lights

        Straight to Auditorium

  1. Waterloo Park

The Waterloo Park is great for an afternoon skate – but don’t expect to stay past dusk. There is a tree in the middle of the park — because I bet you REALLY wanted to know,  its an autumn blaze maple, which is mix of a red and a silver maple.

Parking: Yes – Free in Bauer Lot 70.

  1. McLennan Park (Permanent)

This Kitchener Skatepark is the newest park in the area.

 

Surface: Concrete

Supervised: No

Restrooms: Yes

Features: Streetcourse and Concrete Bowl

  1. Doon Skatium (Non-Permanent)

This is a mobile Skatepark in the Kitchener area which travels to different community centres by the week. Available for weekend rentals for community events.

 

Required Padding: Helmet and Padding Required

ProShop on Site: Loaner Skateboards and Helmets Available

Features: 9 ramps (incl. 5 foot quarter pipe, pipe ramp, 3 piece fly over box, two 2ft-kicker ramps, one grind box, 2 grind rails)

  1. Fischer Park (Permanent/Outdoor)

Fischer Park in Kitchener is home to a new skatepark, its opening in summer of 2015. Get pumped!
