Brave – Tommy Carroll

There are times when we want to give up because we cant land a new trick, we get hurt badly or we just can’t push ourselves anymore. For Tommy Carroll, giving up is not an option, and achieving his dreams and aspirations is totally possible. Tommy Carroll is completely blind, having lost his eyes to bilateral teinoblastoma (cancer of the retinas) at the age of two.

It’s safe to say that skateboarding is no easy task for the average person, and fifteen-year old Tommy Carroll has come a long way since he started when he was ten. But, from watching the video, what’s remarkable is how well he negotiates a skate park with ease despite being completely blind. Check out the video below! Tommy is the man!
